Anthony Joshua Knocks Out Jake Paul in Sixth Round at Miami Boxing Spectacle
Anthony Joshua defeated Jake Paul by knockout in the sixth round at the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19, 2025.
Joshua knocked Paul down twice in the fifth round; although Paul survived that round, he was ultimately KO'd in the sixth.
Joshua connected on 62% of his power shots during the fight.
Paul entered the bout with one prior loss to Tommy Fury and had recent wins over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Mike Tyson. After the fight, Paul revealed that his jaw was broken.
Joshua had not fought since September; his previous bout was a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois for the IBF title. Prior to that, he recorded wins over Ngannou, Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius, and Jermaine Franklin.
In the fourth round, the referee issued a warning to Paul over his tactics, an action that led to boos from the crowd.
Following his victory, Joshua called out Tyson Fury for a mega fight.
