Beau Greaves Makes Return to PDC World Championship After Defending Lakeside Titles
Beau Greaves, aged 21, is returning to the PDC World Championship for the first time since 2022 after skipping the 2024 and 2025 events to focus on defending her Lakeside women’s titles. She continues to dominate women’s darts with an ongoing winning streak of 86 matches on the PDC Women’s Series.
This season, Greaves has notably beaten players such as Luke Littler and Josh Rock on the tour, posting an average of 94.9, and defeated Littler again in the World Youth Championship semi-final with an impressive 105 average. According to Darts Orakel, she is currently ranked as the 22nd best player in the world based on current form.
In her upcoming match, Greaves faces world number 22 Daryl Gurney in a Friday opener, which bookmakers consider a marginal favourite and describe as a "really tough" match. Greaves revealed that her confidence grew after beating better players and realizing she has the ability to compete at a full-time professional level.
She has already secured a Tour Card for 2026 and 2027 through the Development Tour. A recent sponsor change to Target in May, supported by her manager, is helping push her towards challenging the top players on the tour next year. Alongside her career ambitions, Greaves plans to move out of her parents' home but stay in Yorkshire as she pursues her growing darts career.
