BitMine Immersion Technologies Expands ETH Holdings to Over 4 Million Tokens, Controls 3.37% of Supply
BitMine Immersion Technologies, recognized as largest ETH treasury globally, now holds 4,066,062 ETH, worth approximately $12.42 billion at $2,991 per token as of December 21. This represents about 3.37% of the total circulating ETH supply of roughly 120.7 million tokens, as the company targets expanding its stake to 5% in a strategic initiative referred to as the 'Alchemy of 5%'.
In addition to its ETH holdings, BitMine controls 193 BTC and $1.0 billion in cash. Its total crypto, cash, and opportunistic assets amount to an estimated $13.2 billion, which also includes a $32 million equity stake in Eightco Holdings and various other investments known as "moonshots." BitMine ranks second among crypto treasuries worldwide, behind Strategy Inc., which holds over 671,000 BTC.
The company's stock (BMNR) holds the 66th position among US-listed equities, with an average daily trading volume of approximately $1.7 billion over the last five days. This volume places BitMine just behind Wells Fargo and ahead of Chevron. It is backed by prominent institutional investors such as Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest, Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, DCG, Kraken, Bill Miller III, MOZAYYX, and Tom Lee.
Looking forward, BitMine is preparing to launch the Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) in early 2026. The company will hold its annual stockholders meeting at Wynn Las Vegas on January 15, 2026, where it plans to outline the next phase of its ETH-focused strategy amid ongoing regulatory changes.
