Caution Urged Over Uncritical Support for Green Party Leader Zack Polanski
An opinion piece by Marina Hyde, published in The Guardian on December 9, 2025, advises caution against the uncritical adulation of Green Party leader Zack Polanski.

Polanski appeared on a Question Time immigration episode, where he highlighted that about one in five care workers are foreign nationals and expressed gratitude for their contributions.
The article recalls a 2013 video featuring Polanski discussing boob-hypnosis as a novel and cheaper approach to breast augmentation for a Sun article.
It is also noted that Polanski’s partner works in palliative care.
The Green Party is described as nearing polling parity with both the Conservative and Labour parties.
Marina Hyde critiques political tribalism and warns against idol worship of politicians, noting such tendencies can lead to poorer outcomes. Despite the past controversy around the boob-hypnosis video, about 16% of the electorate would still vote for Polanski.
