Crystal Palace Seal Brennan Johnson Transfer from Spurs for Club-Record Fee
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur for a club-record fee of £35 million.
Johnson, who is 24 years old, scored 27 goals in 107 appearances for Tottenham before the transfer.
He has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Crystal Palace, with the deal taking place on the second day of the January transfer window.
Palace manager Oliver Glasner praised the club's hierarchy for securing the swift deal, noting that Johnson will bring pace and goals to the team.
Glasner also mentioned that Bournemouth had been among the clubs pursuing Johnson and reflected on Palace's previous lack of preparedness in transfer windows.
Johnson expressed his excitement about joining Crystal Palace and contributing to the club's ongoing project.
