Dak Prescott Named NFC Pro Bowl Quarterback, Seeks Greater Say in Cowboys Front-Office Decisions
Dak Prescott has been named the NFC quarterback for the Pro Bowl, marking his fourth Pro Bowl selection. The Pro Bowl festivities are scheduled to take place in the San Francisco Bay Area during Super Bowl LX week. Despite these individual accolades, the Cowboys finished Week 16 with a record of 6-8-1 and were eliminated from playoff contention. Prescott emphasized that individual honors matter less than team success and credited his teammates for his achievements.
Looking ahead, Prescott voiced a desire for greater input or say in the Cowboys' front-office decisions going forward. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones acknowledged that management has played a major role in the team's 30-year Super Bowl drought and openly criticized both the team's structure and his role within it.
Offseason decisions include re-signing George Pickens and Javonte Williams, while a decision on Tyler Smith's position along the offensive line is still pending. Prescott's call for a larger role in team decisions highlights a potential shift in the Cowboys' internal dynamics as they seek to return to championship form.
