Dan Bongino to Return to Conservative Media After FBI Deputy Director Role
Dan Bongino left his media career in 2025 to serve as FBI deputy director after being recruited by Kash Patel. In December 2025, he announced he would step down from the FBI role in January 2026.
Donald Trump publicly speculated that Bongino plans to return to his media show. Vince Coglianese confirmed Bongino would resume hosting Westwood One’s 12-3pm slot, with his arrangement at Silverloch Productions allowing for a media comeback.
Conservative voices like Eric Bolling predicted Bongino would regain prominence as a leading conservative podcasting voice. Laura Ingraham suggested Bongino has a strong passion for media and will return.
