Former NASCAR Star Greg Biffle and Family Die in North Carolina Plane Crash
Greg Biffle, the former NASCAR driver aged 55, tragically died in a plane crash in North Carolina. The aircraft was returning to Statesville Regional Airport approximately 10 minutes after takeoff to attempt an emergency landing when the crash occurred.
Biffle's wife Cristina and their children, Ryder (5) and Emma (14), were also among those who perished in the accident. Other individuals on board included Dennis Dutton, his son Jack, and Craig Wadsworth.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the cause of the crash, which has not yet been determined. Representative Richard Hudson (R-NC) posted confirming that Biffle and his family were on board the ill-fated flight.
