Galaxy Digital announced on December 10, 2025, the establishment of a new Abu Dhabi entity under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as part of its strategy to expand its presence in the Middle East.

The announcement coincided with the release of Galaxy's Q3 2025 financial results, which showed a net income of $505 million and equity totaling $3.2 billion.

The firm is also participating in a planned $1.65 billion Solana treasury fund alongside Cantor Fitzgerald, Multicoin Capital, and Jump Crypto.

ADGM, Abu Dhabi’s international financial center, has emerged as a growing crypto and fintech hub. Regulatory developments within ADGM include the acceptance of USDT as a fiat-referenced token across multiple blockchains, approval of Ripple's RLUSD, authorization granted to Circle, and full regulatory approval of Binance to operate Binance.com under ADGM oversight across three entities: exchange, clearing house, and broker-dealer.

UAE regulators have also approved various exchanges and stablecoin issuers operating both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, contributing to an evolving crypto-regulatory environment designed to attract major players like Binance and Bybit.

Galaxy CEO Mike Novogratz stated that the Middle East expansion aims to deepen partnerships and broaden Galaxy’s regional operations in response to strong institutional demand.

Managing Director Bouchra Darwazah described the Middle East as a capital center with sophisticated investors, emphasizing that the new Abu Dhabi office will reinforce Galaxy's ambition to be a leading global digital asset investment and infrastructure firm.
