Global Cloudflare Outage on Nov 18, 2025 Disrupts Crypto Platforms and Front-Ends
On November 18, 2025, a global outage of Cloudflare's internet services caused widespread disruptions affecting multiple customers, including several prominent cryptocurrency platforms.
Arbiscan, the block explorer for Arbitrum, reported a major outage, while platforms such as X and DefiLlama experienced intermittent internal server errors during the incident.
BitMEX also reported outages linked to the Cloudflare disruption.
Cloudflare acknowledged the issue, citing widespread 500 errors and failures in its dashboard and API. An investigation into the outage was underway as of 11:48 UTC.
Following the disruption, shares of Cloudflare (NET) declined 3.5% in pre-market trading.
Notably, in September, Cloudflare had announced NET Dollar, a USD-backed stablecoin, though it has not yet been released.
