Heather Morgan, Convicted in Bitfinex Hack Money Laundering Case, to Release New Music Track
Heather Morgan, also known by her stage name Razzlekhan, a convicted money launderer tied to the 2016 Bitfinex hack, is set to release a new music track titled "Turki$h Martha" later in November 2025. On November 12, 2025, Morgan tweeted that both prison staff and inmates enjoyed the song and asked her to rap it.
Morgan, 35, is currently serving an 18-month federal sentence for laundering funds stolen in the Bitfinex breach and is located under residential reentry management in Sacramento. Her full release is scheduled for December 28, 2025. The majority of the Bitcoin stolen in the hack, which is valued at more than $11 billion, was recovered by federal authorities.
Morgan's husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, received a five-year sentence for money laundering related to the case and has taken responsibility for the hack, stating that his wife was unaware of the criminal operation.
Prior to her arrest, Morgan was known for her online presence featuring rap videos and lifestyle content. She traveled extensively to countries including Turkey, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Egypt, and maintained a persona blend described as a flamboyant “Genghis Khan with pizzazz,” also dubbed the “Versace bedouin.” She studied at Bilkent University in Ankara.
The new music track's video clip depicts Morgan wearing an Ottoman-style war helmet. The lyrics contain references to baklava and other provocative content, with the full lyrics having been posted online by Morgan. Requests for comment from Morgan’s management went unanswered.
