Hedera (HBAR) Falls to Lowest Point in a Year Amid Crypto Market Decline
Hedera's cryptocurrency HBAR dropped to approximately $0.1127 to $0.1122 on December 14–15, 2025, marking its lowest price point since November 2024, aside from a rare liquidation spike in October. The price fell 5.8% from $0.1202 after it failed to maintain gains above $0.1218.
During a resistance test near $0.1194, trading volume surged to 69.18 million tokens, an 86% increase compared to the 24-hour average of 32.8 million. A late-session breakout broke the descending trendline from $0.1218, suggesting a potential reversal within a $0.1129 to $0.1193 consolidation range.
Critical resistance remains at $0.1194, with fresh support established at $0.1121 following the late reversal, and a deeper support level identified at $0.11. Institutional flows were a key factor behind the initial selloff and subsequent late-session recovery, although participation declined after the resistance test.
If HBAR manages a breakout above $0.1194, it could target levels near $0.1218. Conversely, failure to sustain above $0.1121 may lead to a retest of the $0.11 support level.
