Jamie Oliver is set to relaunch Jamie's Italian in partnership with Brava Hospitality Group, with a new location planned for Leicester Square, London, opening in spring next year. Brava, which also operates the Prezzo chain, will lead the revival of the Jamie's Italian brand in the UK. James Brown, CEO of Brava, stated that the initiative aims to bring world-class Italian dining back to the UK high street with a long-term investment strategy.

Oliver is playing a key role in the relaunch, overseeing menu development, sourcing ingredients, staff training, and the restaurant’s visual identity. Originally launched in 2008 in Oxford with chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian expanded to approximately 40 sites before going into administration in 2019, which led to the closure of all UK locations. However, the brand continues overseas with more than 30 restaurants in 25 countries.

The relaunch is intended to address opportunities within the mid-market dining segment by offering a modern, exceptional Italian hospitality experience. Jamie Oliver described the plan as an effort to deliver excitement, surprise, and delight to customers. Brava Hospitality Group aims to reimagine the high street through this exceptional, modern Italian dining concept.
