Jessie Diggins Claims Third Tour de Ski Title in Final Season
Jessie Diggins won the six-stage Tour de Ski for the third time, solidifying her place in the event's history. She finished second in the final 10km stage behind Karoline Simpson-Larsen with an overall time of 2:11:26.1. Diggins became the first American to win the Tour de Ski overall, claiming titles in 2021, 2023, and 2026 over the 20-year history of the event.
The final stage took place in Val di Fiemme, which will host the cross-country skiing events for the upcoming Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Diggins also announced that the 2025–26 season will be her last on the World Cup circuit.
Katharina Hennig's teammate Stadlober finished second in the overall standings, 2:17.7 behind Diggins, while Weng secured third place, 2:31.6 behind the winner.
On the men's side, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo won the Tour, adding a record-tying fifth title. He finished 12th in the final stage while teammates Stenshagen and Amundsen joined him on the podium, marking an all-Norwegian sweep.
The Tour de Ski is an eight-day, multi-race event combining sprint and distance races in both classic and freestyle techniques, culminating in the challenging Alpe Cermis climb.
