Led By Donkeys Project Trump-Epstein Link on Windsor Castle During State Visit
On September 17, 2025, the activist group Led By Donkeys staged a nine-minute film projecting a link between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle during Trump's state visit. The film alleged that Trump was a long-time close associate of Epstein and was circulated widely online, gaining around 20 million views.
To create the display, the group used a 32,000-lumen projector and a concealed Bluetooth speaker hidden inside a Kellogg’s Fruit 'n Fibre box, projecting onto the castle’s cylindrical surface, including the royal crest. They booked rooms at the Harte and Garter hotel nearby to facilitate the production, with media coverage present.
Police arrived approximately three minutes after the projection began. Co-founders Ben Stewart and others were arrested on charges of malicious communication, related to stalking laws, due to the projection. Later that night, the group was arrested again for public nuisance and were questioned by a child-protection squad. The questioning included references to the projector setup, to which the activists responded with no comment.
Just over a month following the events, all charges against the group were dropped.
