Lifestyle App vVoosh Collapses After Raising £9m, Without Launching a Product
vVoosh, a lifestyle app backed by Sarah Ferguson, received more than £1 million in UK government R&D tax credits and raised about £9 million in total funding. Despite this financial backing, the company collapsed and was placed into administration in November 2025 without launching a product.
Manuel Fernandez, the founder and an associate of Sarah Ferguson who described her as an ambassador for the company, served as a director but resigned earlier in 2025. The administrator's report highlights a breakdown in communication between current directors, major creditors, and Fernandez, who ceased all communication after his resignation. The company is owed approximately £324,609 by a former director believed to be Fernandez, who sold his North London home for about £1.3 million last summer and is thought to have left the UK.
La Luna Investments, Ferguson's company, is owed £50,000 and held just under 1% of vVoosh shares. Meanwhile, the Charity Commission has started the process of removing the vVoosh Charitable Foundation from the charities register due to non-operation and overdue reporting.
Additionally, American backer Mark Guzy invested more than £400,000 to preserve essential services and protect the software platform following the company's troubles.
