Manchester United and Bournemouth draw 4-4 in Premier League thriller at Old Trafford
Manchester United and Bournemouth played out an eight-goal thriller that ended in a 4-4 draw at Old Trafford in their Premier League clash.
Amad Diallo opened the scoring for Manchester United around the 12th minute, before Antoine Semenyo levelled for Bournemouth around the 40-minute mark.
Casemiro then headed in a corner from Bruno Fernandes to give United a 2-1 lead shortly before half-time, but Evanilson equalised to make it 2-2.
Marcus Tavernier put Bournemouth ahead with a free-kick, and around the 60th minute, Kobbie Mainoo came on to replace Casemiro for United.
In the 77th minute, Bruno Fernandes scored a free-kick to equalise for United, but Matheus Cunha restored Bournemouth's lead two minutes later after a cross from Sesko deflected off Adrien Truffert.
Late in the match, substitute Eli Kroupi scored Bournemouth's third equaliser, making it 4-4 at the final whistle.
Bournemouth's Tyler Adams was substituted off after five minutes and replaced by Alex Scott.
Ruben Amorim's United team have now suffered just one defeat in 10 matches, although defensive lapses remain a concern.
