New Epstein Files Reveal Donald Trump's Flights with Jeffrey Epstein and a 20-Year-Old Woman
The US Justice Department released a major new batch of thousands of Jeffrey Epstein files overnight Tuesday, including more references to Donald Trump than in earlier releases.
An email from January 7, 2020, to Southern District of New York officials states that Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996. On one 1993 flight, only Trump and Epstein were listed as passengers; on another flight, the passenger list included Epstein, Trump, and an unnamed 20-year-old woman whose name was redacted.
The files do not indicate that the 20-year-old woman was a victim of any crime, and inclusion in the files does not imply any wrongdoing by Trump. Additionally, the documents reference Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) multiple times.
Some of these flights also included Ghislaine Maxwell, who was present on at least four of them. Other flights listed women identified as potential witnesses in Maxwell's case.
The release was legally required by the end of last week after months of delay and stalling from the Trump administration. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox News that several hundred thousand more Epstein files are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Trump had previously vowed to release Epstein-related files during his presidential campaign but later stated that no such incriminating client list existed and declined to release the files, prompting bipartisan backlash. Trump continues to deny any knowledge of or involvement in Epstein's activities.
Further updates are expected as the latest tranche of files is reviewed by the Justice Department.
