The Premier League match between Newcastle United and Chelsea is set to kick off at 12:30 GMT at St James’ Park. Both teams enter the game with renewed momentum after winning their Carabao Cup ties in midweek.
Newcastle United currently sit 12th in the league table, six points behind Chelsea who hold fourth position. Newcastle will be without several players due to injury including Burn, Livramento, Sven Botman, Dan Burn, Kieran Trippier, Emil Krafth, Jamaal Lascelles, William Osula, and Nick Pope. Overall, more than 130 players across the Premier League are reportedly nursing injuries.
Chelsea have made one change from their last weekend’s win over Everton, with Moises Caicedo coming into midfield replacing Enzo Fernández. Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho will also start for Chelsea.
Newcastle have made three changes to their side: Ramsey and Jacob Murphy are included in the starting line-up, Anthony Elanga is named on the bench, and Lewis Miley starts at right-back.
