Nottingham Forest Secure 3-0 Victory Over Tottenham Hotspur to Move Clear of Relegation Zone
Nottingham Forest defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 in a Premier League match held at the City Ground on 14 December 2025. This victory moved Forest five points clear of West Ham, creating some daylight above the relegation zone.
Hudson-Odoi opened the scoring in the 29th minute following a well-worked move where Ibrahim Sangaré won possession from Archie Gray and squared the ball to him for an easy finish. Early in the second half, Hudson-Odoi doubled Forest's lead with a cross that beat Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who had failed to collect the ball properly.
Ibrahim Sangaré completed the win for Forest with a late first-time strike making the score 3-0. Tottenham's goalkeeper Vicario was at fault for the first two goals due to a hospital-pass error that led to the opener and poor positioning that contributed to the second. He also suffered a calf injury in the second half.
Under manager Thomas Frank, Tottenham made two changes with Bentancur and Kolo Muani starting; however, the team offered little threat to Forest's defense, with Archie Gray's 33rd-minute attempt being their only shot on target before halftime.
