Ondo Finance to Launch Tokenized U.S. Stocks and ETFs Trading on Solana in Early 2026
Ondo Finance plans to introduce tokenized stock and ETF trading on the Solana blockchain in early 2026, aiming to expand access for both retail and institutional investors. The platform will enable 24/7 trading of U.S. stocks and ETFs with near-instant settlement, completing transactions within seconds. To date, Ondo has issued approximately $365 million in tokenized assets, making it the largest operator in the tokenized real-world asset space according to RWA.xyz. Previously, Ondo expanded its services to the BNB Chain, unlocking access to about 3.4 million daily users. The broader market for tokenized real-world assets has more than doubled since August and is approaching $700 million in total value locked. Regulatory developments have been positive for Ondo, following the SEC's closure of a confidential investigation into the company without any charges. In a related market move, rival Backed Finance, which owns roughly $162 million in tokenized assets, was acquired by Kraken earlier this month.
