Patriots Rally to Defeat Ravens 28-24, Secure Playoff Spot
The New England Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens 28-24 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore to clinch a playoff berth and improve their record to 12-3.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson left the game in the second quarter with a back injury. Tyler Huntley replaced him and finished 9-of-10 passing for 65 yards, while Jackson was 7-of-10 for 101 yards with 7 rushing yards before his exit.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye led a late 73-yard drive that culminated in a 37-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Williams and a successful two-point conversion, narrowing the Ravens' lead to 24-21.
New England then drove 89 yards for the go-ahead score, with Rhamondre Stevenson’s 21-yard rushing touchdown giving the Patriots a 28-24 lead with under two minutes remaining.
For Baltimore, Zay Flowers recorded seven receptions for 84 yards and a rushing touchdown but also fumbled a short reception late in the game.
Derrick Henry scored two rushing touchdowns for the Ravens, including the opening score and another in the fourth quarter to bring the score to 24-13 during the game.
