Patriots Receiver Mack Hollins Enters Gillette Stadium Barefoot and Shirtless Amid Freezing Temperatures
Mack Hollins entered Gillette Stadium barefoot and shirtless ahead of a Sunday Patriots-Bills game during a Northeast winter storm. Temperatures were around 32 degrees Fahrenheit and expected to dip below 30 by the end of the game. The storm brought snow to Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Hollins explained that he started barefoot training 6 to 7 years ago after working with Melbourne Muscular Therapy trainers from Australia who traveled to Philadelphia. He noted that barefoot training also helps by requiring one less bag to pack on the road.
This is Hollins's first season with the New England Patriots. His previous NFL experience includes playing for the Eagles during his rookie year in 2017, where he was part of a Super Bowl-winning team, as well as time with the Dolphins, Raiders, Falcons, and Bills. This season, Hollins has recorded 35 receptions for 440 yards and two touchdowns.
