Phantom Wallet Integrates Kalshi Prediction Markets for Seamless Trading Experience
Phantom wallet, which claims over 20 million users, has integrated Kalshi prediction markets, allowing users to trade on topics including politics, sports, and culture directly within the app.
Users can purchase tokenized Kalshi positions using Solana tokens or Phantom's CASH stablecoin, without the need for separate deposits or creating new accounts.
The integration offers real-time updates on prices, odds, and events along with notifications when markets settle. Additionally, a social trading feature provides a live community chat within each market to discuss sentiment as odds change.
Phantom CEO Brandon Millman stated that this integration aims to make prediction markets as intuitive as other crypto trading experiences by combining tokenized Kalshi positions with the Phantom platform.
This move aligns with a broader industry trend of embedding prediction markets within wallets and media platforms. For example, Polymarket has been integrated into MetaMask, Myriad into Trust Wallet, and Kalshi has tie-ins with CNN and CNBC. Furthermore, the UFC partners with Polymarket while the NHL has licensed both Kalshi and Polymarket.
