Pickleball Player Dies After Falling Three Stories in Kuala Lumpur
A 32-year-old pickleball player died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after climbing over a safety rail to retrieve a ball and falling three stories. The incident occurred on December 2, 2025, at the Playa Racquet Club located within the TREC facility in the Wangsa Maju district.
According to Wangsa Maju district police chief Mohamad Lazim Ismail, the deceased climbed over the court fence on the third floor to fetch the ball and subsequently fell to the lower floor. The mesh netting covering an open gap tore under his weight, contributing to the fatal fall. The case has been classified as sudden death and remains under police investigation.
