Piers Morgan's Uncensored is nearing a $100 million valuation after raising approximately $30 million (£22.5 million) in fundraising aimed at driving its growth. The business is now valued at roughly $130 million (£97 million) pre-money. Investors include The Raine Group and Theo Kyriakou of Antenna Group, with Joe Ravitch from Raine set to join the Uncensored board. Additionally, Michael Kassan is providing advice on advertising, while several family offices are in discussions to invest.

This fundraising follows nearly a year since Morgan's departure from News UK and his full control of the Uncensored YouTube channel, which has amassed 4.3 million subscribers. Around half of these subscribers are from the United States, with sizable audiences also in the Middle East, South Africa, and parts of Asia.

Uncensored currently operates under a four-year revenue-sharing agreement with News UK, which diverts a portion of its advertising revenue to News UK until 2029. Morgan plans to expand Uncensored into a broader digital media group featuring various verticals including history, sport, and technology, supported by a newly recruited chief executive.

Morgan's recent ventures include a January 2022 return to the Murdoch empire with roles at The Sun, New York Post, and TalkTV. He is also the author of 'Woke Is Dead,' published by HarperCollins. Red Seat Ventures is assisting in securing sponsorships for Uncensored.
