Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice Join Royal Family for Christmas Day Service at Sandringham
Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice attended the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate, walking behind King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, accompanied them.
Prince Andrew, Duke of York (Mountbatten-Windsor), was not present at the service, having been stripped of his royal titles. He is believed to be spending Christmas at Royal Lodge near Windsor. His former wife, Sarah Ferguson, was also absent.
The King and Queen led the royal family from Sandringham House to the 11am service at St Mary Magdalene Church, which lasted about an hour. Other royals in attendance included the Prince and Princess of Wales with their children, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Timothy Laurence, and Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall.
Hundreds of people gathered to watch the royal family walk to the church on the bright, sunny morning in East Anglia.
Prince Andrew remains under ongoing scrutiny relating to Epstein, including files citing his requests for 'inappropriate friends.' He is reportedly set to vacate Royal Lodge for Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate as renovations continue, following controversy around peppercorn rent.
