Providence Equity Partners appoints Jefferies and The Raine Group for CloserStill Media sale
Providence Equity Partners has engaged Jefferies and The Raine Group to oversee a potential auction or sale of CloserStill Media, positioned for 2026.
CloserStill Media operates over 200 specialist events across sectors such as healthcare and technology, having recently acquired Billington Cybersecurity in September.
The deal is anticipated to fetch well over £1 billion, with prospective buyers viewing around £1 billion as the likely minimum price.
Providence Equity Partners has backed CloserStill since 2018 and also holds ownership of Hyve alongside private equity partner Searchlight.
Bidders for the sale are expected to include both trade rivals and other financial investors.
