Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the owner of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is set to acquire 100% of the Belgian Challenger Pro League club KAS Eupen. A memorandum of understanding has been signed, and a public announcement is expected on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. Eupen currently occupies seventh place in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.

This acquisition is part of QSI's broader multi-club ownership strategy aimed at building connected high-performance ecosystems and expanding football assets and activities. The group plans to immediately take over sporting operations of Eupen, strengthen its sporting model, expand commercial operations, and focus on youth development and infrastructure.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, chairman of QSI, expressed pride in becoming custodian of Eupen and contributing to the development of football in Belgium. Eupen was previously owned by Aspire, another Qatari entity, and QSI already holds ownership of PSG. Additionally, QSI has stakes in Sporting Braga and interests beyond football, such as Art Basel and Premier Padel.

This move highlights the continuing interest of Gulf investors in European football clubs.
