Rob Cross Advances to Third Round at PDC World Darts Championship
Rob Cross, the 2018 world champion, reached the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship with a 3-1 win over Ian White. Despite a year marked by early exits, Cross aims to win a second world title and return to Alexandra Palace after Christmas.
In other second-round action, Joe Cullen, seeded 32, accused Mensur Suljovic of cheating due to slow play in the final set of their match. Suljovic responded in the post-match press conference, stating he doesn't understand what Cullen's problem is.
Krzysztof Ratajski also advanced, defeating Ryan Joyce 3-1 and will return after Christmas. Luke Woodhouse secured a 3-0 victory over Max Hopp.
During the Sunday evening session, defending champion and world No. 1 Luke Littler is set to face David Davies. Gerwyn Price is scheduled to play Wesley Plaisier, while Damon Heta will meet Stefan Bellmont, who previously knocked Raymond van Barneveld out of the tournament in the first round.
