Solana-based AI Token AVA Plunges 96% Amid Insider and Coordination Allegations
AVA, a Solana-based AI token, has experienced a dramatic decline of over 96% from its all-time high of approximately $0.33 reached in January 2025, currently trading near $0.01.
Launched on November 13, 2024 on the platform Pump.fun and marketed as a fair and decentralized launch, AVA is backed by Holoworld AI. The token has a total supply of 1 billion, with 50 million (5%) released at launch, and other allocations subject to long-term vesting.
On-chain analysis by Bubblemaps revealed that around 40% of AVA's total supply was accumulated at launch by a cluster of wallets linked to the deployer. These wallets were funded shortly before launch via centralized exchanges such as Binance and Bitget. Additionally, about 23 wallets, funded with SOL and showing minimal prior activity, purchased large amounts of AVA at launch using automated strategies, indicating potential coordination or insider sniping.
By January 2025, AVA's fully diluted valuation was around $300 million. Yet as of late 2025, its price near $0.01 reflects substantial losses for early buyers.
The episode contributes to a pattern of concentrated token ownership following launches and raises concerns about the authenticity of fair-launch claims and transparency regarding insider activities. Bubblemaps notes ongoing scrutiny of token launches following similar cases including PEPE, the WET presale on Solana, and MYX Finance’s airdrop, although not all cases result in enforcement actions.
Holoworld AI states it has created over 10,000 3D virtual characters, partnered with more than 25 IP/NFT brands, and attracted over 1 million users, but these developments have not prevented AVA's sharp decline in value.
