The Revel Collective Initiates Formal Sale Amid Financial Crisis
The Revel Collective, owner of Revolution Bars and operator of 22 Peach Pubs along with Revolucion de Cuba venues, is currently conducting a formal sale process with bids due by January 9. The group operates 62 locations and has warned shareholders they face being wiped out if a deal is not concluded; as a result, trading in its shares has been suspended.
Neos Hospitality is reported to be among the interested parties looking to acquire some of The Revel Collective's sites, particularly its late-night venues. Additionally, two other parties are reportedly in talks to buy the Peach Pubs business, with FTI Consulting advising on the sale process.
The board has considered an equity fundraising but concluded it does not have the necessary support. Investors are unlikely to see any return from the transactions currently under consideration. The company could collapse if sales do not proceed. The Revel Collective declined to comment on the ongoing process.
