The Revel Collective Sets January 9 Bid Deadline Amid Financial Struggles
The Revel Collective, the London-listed owner of Revolution Bars, Peach Pubs, and Revolución de Cuba venues, has announced a bid deadline of January 9 for offers on its assets. The group operates 62 locations and recently warned shareholders they could be wiped out if a deal is not completed; trading in its shares was suspended earlier in the month.
Reports indicate that Neos Hospitality is among the bidders interested in acquiring some of The Revel Collective's late-night venues. Additionally, industry insiders reveal that two parties are in talks to acquire the Peach Pubs business, which The Revel Collective had acquired in 2022 when it was known as Revolution Bars.
The board of The Revel Collective has considered an equity fundraising option but rejected it, citing insufficient support and the likelihood that investors would not receive returns. FTI Consulting is advising on the formal sale process. The Revel Collective declined to comment further.
