UK Man Opens Up About His Struggle With Porn Addiction
Ben Lennard describes how his use of pornography began at a young age, around 10 to 11 years old, and developed into a compulsive habit that interfered with his relationships and self-esteem, causing significant mental health strain.
He experienced intense cravings and intrusive urges, sometimes even in public settings, and often used humor to mask the seriousness of his problem.
In 2024, Ben was diagnosed with ADHD, which helped explain his impulsive and thrill-seeking behavior related to his addiction.
With the support of the Online Safety Act, which helped protect his personal details on porn sites, he managed to stop using pornography completely, going 'cold turkey.'
The article also highlights that more than half of UK therapists have reported a rise in cases of out-of-control porn use.
